Job description: HR Manager will develop organizational strategies by identifying and researching
human resources issues, and ensure department objectives are in line with the company goals and
objectives. Will comply with federal, state, and local legal requirements by staying abreast of existing
and new legislation; Will participate in the development of the organization's plans and programs as a
strategic partner, but particularly from the perspective of the impact on people. Will create and
implement employee retention and succession planning programs. Will organize and conduct
employee reviews and performance improvement plans. Will develop and conduct training programs
throughout the company. Will communicate staffing needs with HR staff. Will evaluate and advises
on the impact of long-range planning of new programs/strategies and regulatory action as those items
affect the attraction, motivation, development and retention of the people resources of the
organization. Will develop progressive and proactive compensation and benefits programs to provide
motivation, incentives and rewards for effective performance. Will manage all facets of the human
resources operations through recruiting, evaluating, coaching and training the staff and ensuring the
proper systems and checks and balances are in place. Will conduct workplace investigations and
resolve employee questions/concerns. Will enhance, develop, implements and enforce HR policies
and procedures via systems that will improve the overall operation and effectiveness of the
organization. Will work with international personnel and ensure compliance will all immigration
regulations. Will liaison with oversees personnel as necessary.
Requirements: Minimum of Master's degree in Human Resources or closely related field plus 1 year
prior work experience as HR specialist or closely related in fast paced environment. Specific
Requirements: 1 years work experience where candidate gained a strong understanding of Federal and
State laws with regard to employment in CA, including Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO),
affirmative action guidelines and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Minimum one year
prior experience with full cycle recruiting from beginning to end. Strong working knowledge of
Microsoft Office software, including advanced skills in excel and power point evidenced through one
year of work experience. Strong knowledge of recruiting practices and ability to collaborate with
managers on recruiting efforts evidenced through one year of work experience. Minimum of one year
of experience working closely with HR service providers like ADP, Paycheck, staffing agencies or
similar. One (1) year of human resources experience working with international personnel, including
immigration compliance. Minimum one year of experience developing compensation and benefits
programs; HR policies; and overseeing HR operations.
